Fourth of July Fireworksby Shelby Shy on June 27, 2014 at 4:15 pm
When I begin decorating for our Fourth of July BBQs, I turn to the flowers and colors that resemble the festivities. While many people think of red, white and blue, the first thing that pops in my head are the fun fireworks that light up the night. Here are three colorful floral arrangements inspired by Fourth of July fireworks perfect to decorate celebrations or thank party hosts.
The Roman candle fireworks, the ones that look like exploding stars, inspire this arrangement. Bright red manzanita branches and yellow Asiatic and calla lilies burst through purple liatris, orange circus roses, green hydrangea and monstera leaves.
Like gold bursts of fireworks in the sky, these yellow and white flowers will make your guests ooh and ahh. Oncidium orchids, yellow roses and yellow craspedia bring a punch of yellow brightness to the table. Here several different floral arrangements are grouped in various heights and containers. They look perfect together for a party centerpiece or foyer display.
The yellow buttons here make me think of sparklers and add some color to this floral gift of classic blue delphinium and red gerberas.
Your local florist has red, white and blue flowers as well as tons of creative ideas to help you celebrate or send cheer this July 4.
