1-FlowersRemember a few weeks ago when I told you about the VaseOff! Mother’s Day Challenge  and I asked for your vote to support Shriners Hospitals for Children® — Philadelphia? Well this week, Kremp Florist arranged and delivered 150 cheerful bouquets to some pretty awesome people!

How did this all go down you ask? Here’s the set up.

The amazing team at Shriners set up a table for the patients to pick out their arrangement. At the table, they were provided cards so they could share a special note to their caregiver to tell them how much they appreciate them.

2-Daniel_MomAccording to the Shriners team, “The joy and smiles of the patients and their families at Shriners Hospital for Children when we delivered 150 beautiful arrangements was heartwarming. The immense positive power that flowers provide was at its fullest for the children and their lucky recipients. Kremp Florist was thrilled to partner with the Society of American Florists in their Mother’s Day Vase Off! Challenge for the very special event.”

I’d like to personally thank everyone who voted and helped bring smiles, memories and the wonderful feeling to the caregivers and patients. HUGE thank you to Kremp Florist for their generous donation. Seriously, they know their flowers and their work is amazing! More thanks to those behind and thinking of me to represent Philly. Of course, finally, special thanks to the team at Shriners for helping us put this all together.  Read More

Now that spring has finally arrived here in Philadelphia, I’m ready to start working on my garden. I love including my daughter in picking out which ones will go in our garden and what colors. It’s different every year. I started thinking about how flowers have always been significant through many milestones in my life. Read More
