The bouquets of the 1920s were massive and full of asparagus ferns, calla lilies, gardenias and carnations. In this modern day interpretation, I use some of the flowers from that era, but in a more sleek, crescent shape. The addition of the ostrich plumes adds layers of detail and texture to the design. The flowers are grouped and the lines of the calla lilies accent the crescent shape, but more importantly draw the eye through the focal point.
Flowers and Materials Featured: Calla Lilies, Gardenias, Carnations, Garden Roses, Asparagus Fern and Ostrich Plumes.
